I’m Sarah, my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a practicing psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2011. I later completed a Master of Social Work degree at Western University in 2018. My goal in the therapy room is to create a safe space that allows you to get to the root cause of your distress in order to move forward in life. I am often described as direct, but am committed to provide a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental therapeutic environment.
Between my undergraduate and graduate degree, I spent time living and working overseas as a kindergarten teacher in Seoul, South Korea and in Hong Kong. Prior to moving back to Canada, I studied to become a certified meditation instructor in Rishikesh, India.
I am a firm believer and practitioner of client-centered and trauma informed care. Together, we can work towards bringing the parts of you that are seeking change in order to heal. I am comfortable sitting with clients who are working through difficult emotions, feelings and memories. I have experience in clinical neurosciences and have worked primarily in direct clinical psychiatric care. I specialise in supporting clients who feel held back by their past experiences or traumas. I have helped many clients over the years suffering from anxiety, panic, PTSD, depression, personality disorders, psychosis and phobias. I work collaboratively with clients from an EMDR therapy perspective along with an adjunct of mindfulness.
In my spare time, you can find me travelling, in the mountains, spending time with my partner or catching up on the latest Netflix documentaries.

I’m Kayla (she/her)
I’m a mixed ancestry Métis woman. I am passionate about working with individuals of all ages in strengthening their mental wellness through art, play, talk therapy and EMDR. Our core beliefs are often formed in childhood and they shape our behaviours in a big way. When we recognize these beliefs and start to transform them, we can begin to live our lives with more peace and alignment. EMDR therapy has truly changed my life and therefore I’m enthusiastic about helping others with this approach.
Though I’m fairly new to private practice, I have many, many years experience as a teacher, a youth care counsellor, nanny and support worker for children with special needs.
Currently, I am only taking new adult clients for short-term EMDR and EMDR intensives. If you’re interested in finding out more about my approach, please book a free 15 minute consultation. I would love to hear from you.
Areas of interest: recovery from abusive and toxic relationships, parent-child triggers, breaking people-pleasing habits, anxiety
Some of my hobbies include painting with watercolours, photography, baking and spending time by the ocean.

I am Emma and my pronouns are she/her.
I have an undergrad degree in Social Work from UBC and a Master of Social Work in Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency, from the University of Toronto. I am an experienced Social Worker having worked at my local health authority in addictions treatment for the last 15 years. Additionally, outside of my work with the health authority and Kindred Counselling I facilitate clinical individual and group psychedelic-assisted therapy in Kelowna and am currently a trained Therapsil Affiliate.
With years of study, personal experience, and specialized training alongside some of the top professionals in the field, as a part of integration work I offer guidance for spiritual exploration and personal growth with folk’s experiences with psychedelics, as well as offer support for those navigating challenging psychedelic experiences using EMDR therapy. My services are grounded in a deep understanding of how to integrate psychedelic experiences safely and meaningfully.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a true understanding of the diverse challenges that life can bring and know that although adverse childhood experiences may have been impactful on you, healing is possible for everyone. Having personally faced significant life challenges such as trauma, addiction, homelessness, loss, and aging out of foster care, I understand the complexities of healing from difficult experiences. My own journey has shaped my trauma-informed approach, and I bring a unique perspective to supporting clients who are navigating their own challenges. EMDR has been key in my own recovery, and I am confident that EMDR will be an effective treatment for your recovery as well. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, please feel free to contact me.
